The Monroe Repair Café is seeking volunteers for its event on Saturday, June 28.
Volunteers will help other community members fix their broken or damaged items, in order to prevent waste and encourage reuse.
Community members with the following skills are encouraged to volunteer:
Sewing and mending;
Electrical and mechanical repair;
Knife and scissor sharpening;
Minor wood repair;
Jewelry cleaning and fixing; and
Bicycle maintenance.
Volunteers must bring equipment and tools in their area of expertise. Electrical outlets will be available.

The Repair Café will take place at the Monroe Town Hall, 1465 Orange Turnpike, on June 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
