Tuxedo Park mayor: 'Let's elect Chris Kasker' village trustee in September

Dear neighbors,

I am casting my vote for the next Village Trustee Chris Kasker on Election Day, and ask you to join me.

His credentials as a dedicated public servant have been well-documented. Chris is a member of the Tuxedo Planning Board and a Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce Trustee.

He is a volunteer firefighter and an Executive Board member for the Tuxedo Park Fire Department.

Chris graduated from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, a Master’s Degree in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University, and a second Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Connecticut.

Chris is Chief Operating Officer at HEPCO, Inc. and previously the Director of Communications at the Tuxedo Park School.

He served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, and he will serve honorably as Tuxedo Park’s next Trustee.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris when I asked him to join the search committee for a new chief. He was everything you would expect and was a great addition to the committee.

Capitalizing on his educational and professional experience, Chris and I will work closely with the Chief and Police Department to move toward a community-oriented model, decrease trespassing and enhance safety within the gates.

The police department is more than one-quarter of our annual taxes and our only security asset.

Chris will run a tireless campaign, and his efforts are greatly appreciated, as are the goals he has articulated for the Village of Tuxedo Park.

Chris’s dedication to professionalism and community, and being a cheerful voice for the Park won my support.

I believe Chris will be a dedicated advocate for all residents and that he will help ensure that every Village Board member is equal and can maximize his or her potential.

I wish him the very best on Sept. 15 and urge my friends and supporters to cast their votes for Chris Kasker.
