Timothy Egan announces candidacy for election as Village of Woodbury mayor
My name is Timothy P. Egan and I seek your support for the office of mayor in the Village of Woodbury.
My entire adult life has been spent serving the public. Over the last 12 years, I have served Woodbury residents, first as a Zoning Board of Appeals member, then as a Village Trustee.
In addition, for the past 10 years I have had the honor and privilege of serving as deputy mayor.
During that time I maintained the highest levels of professionalism, transparency and ethical behavior. I’ve evaluated every decision we’ve faced by measuring benefits to the community against potential costs, not by what others tell me to do.
I was fortunate enough to work with a team that did good work improving the lives of Woodbury residents.
By way of example, I advocated for the successful implementation of a much needed infrastructure repair and replace program for outdated water and sewer equipment, bringing three new potable water wells on line and voted to transition to LED streetlights and other green energy, all while keeping taxes low, improving services and reducing operating costs.
As CIO for Rockland Paramedic Services I am tasked with IT management, communications, logistics, compliance and emergency management, overseeing a multi-million dollar operation with more than 200 employees.
I’ve led multiple FEMA Strike Teams to the Gulf Coast and have 30 years of Incident Command experience at the local, state and federal levels.
My teammates, Tara Burek and Chris Graziano, and I possess a clear perspective and the will to get the job done.
Make sure you understand each candidate’s qualifications - they will be responsible for key decisions that will impact your life.
Please vote for the Republican and Woodbury Forward Party Endorsed Team on Election Day, Nov. 5. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Respectfully,
Timothy P. Egan
Deputy Mayor
Village of Woodbury
