With over 10 years’ experience as highway superintendent in two towns, now Monroe, James “Pat” Patterson is my choice for November 7. Pat has worked every position in a town department from small equipment maintenance to heavy equipment, giving him a know-how of a lifetime. In addition to being a “doer” of these things, he has developed the managerial and leadership skills noteworthy of him being elected VP of the SE New York Metro Branch of the American Public Works Association. He has developed a network of contacts from Long Island to Albany along the Hudson for resources he might need here in Monroe. His volunteer work in firefighting along with his working in sewer and water works is a plus for Monroe. We can’t go wrong by electing Patterson as our Monroe highway superintendent on November 7.
