Pushing back ‘Pandemic Fatigue’ with ‘Pandemic Kindness’

| 01 Nov 2020 | 02:41

Last Sunday we held Monroe’s Jerome Spector Memorial CROP Hunger Walk and so far we have raised $8,486. That is 45 percent more than last year’s Walk total. We did an especially good job raising money online.

I deeply appreciate all of you for donating your diverse talents and time to this effort. The local food banks and worldwide hunger-fighting efforts need our support.

If there are additional, off-line funds you need to turn in or if you have any questions, please call me at 782-8386.

I feel like this year’s Walk was one way we pushed back against “Pandemic Fatigue” with “Pandemic Kindness.”

In the days ahead, I’m sure we will all find other ways.

Appreciatively,

Frederick Schuepfer

Coordinator, Monroe CROP Walk
