A few months ago, Sustainable Warwick put together a webinar that featured energy and climate solutions for our homes and community. It provided many affordable, specific suggestions on making our homes more efficient (and comfortable) while saving energy and money. It provided help in choosing renewable energy, food choices, landscaping, and joining with others in making positive change in the community, accompanied with a thorough resource list.
Having finished a tough winter and now facing more energy price rises and other dislocations from the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we feel that it is an appropriate time to bring this webinar to your attention again. There’s much more that we can do than just put up with high gas prices.
For those of us who have experienced the roller coaster of fossil fuel energy shortages and prices over the past 50 years, it is clear we as individuals and as a society need to get off the roller coaster.
