I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul for printing Cardinal Timothy Dolan's letter on his thoughts regarding the recent violent tragedies in our nation.
As a former New Yorker, I have had the honor and privilege to have been in his company for various reasons, both in large crowds as well as small groups with personal contact.
For myself, Cardinal Dolan is Jesus Christ's representative in our midst, and he embodies and exudes our Catholic morals and ethics.
He listens to the people's concerns that he shepherds and is the voice of reason and logic in a society that is turned upside down.
His holiness as well as his humanity are clearly evident. I believe that all people of all faiths should read his letter.
