Jesus Gomez and Andrew Giacomazza ‘have fulfilled their commitments’
Although I no longer reside in Woodbury, I still maintain my law practice in the municipality and still have deep feelings and concerns for all my friends, clients and neighbors within the village.
I dedicated almost 38 years of my life as a Woodbury Town Justice to protect and safeguard all residents and care deeply about Woodbury and its future.
During these trying times local governments are facing pressures never experienced before. People of character and integrity in government must step up to the plate and be recognized for their dedication and commitment to their constituents.
There are many candidates who raise issues but few fulfill their campaign promises .With this in mind, I offer my support for Jesus Gomez and Andrew Giacomazza, two men seeking re-election as Woodbury Village Trustees.
Both Andrew and Jesus have fulfilled their commitments by promoting changes to the Village Code, sponsoring legislation to preserve and protect village water, land and vital resources and literally opened the public meeting process to full transparency so residents are aware of the budget process and have input into the process by being able to comment at public meetings to voice their opinions and concerns.
Jesus and Andrew listen to you and remain receptive to your comments, to respond to your concerns and fears. In sum, they care.
During my tenure as Town Justice, I ran for election with endorsements from the Democratic Independent and Conservative parties. I urge all Woodburyites regardless of party affiliation to support these two fine men.
Vote Gomez and Giacomazza on Nov. 3.
And stay safe.
