‘It’s now abundantly clear that Sean Patrick Maloney stands with Nancy Pelosi and the Socialists’

Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt (R,C,I,LBT,SAM-New Windsor) released the following statement in response to the House Democrats electing U.S. Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney as chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee:

“Just a few short weeks ago, Sean Patrick Maloney campaigned as a moderate, bipartisan member of Congress who promised to work across party lines to represent hardworking Hudson Valley families.

“Today, after being nominated by the Socialist squad, he was elected to the most partisan job in Washington: chairman of the Democratic Campaign Congressional Committee.

“Hudson Valley families deserve a congressman who is focused on delivering real results for our region, not a partisan campaign chairman.

“It’s now abundantly clear that Sean Patrick Maloney stands with Nancy Pelosi and the Socialists instead of with us.

“We deserve better.”
