Dear Parish Family,
As many of you have no doubt heard by now, our beloved Fr. Denis Tameh was recently transferred to a new assignment. His help was urgently needed at St. Augustine Church in Larchmont, where he is now serving as parochial vicar.
On behalf of our entire community, I would like to thank Fr. Denis for his service at Sacred Heart and St. Patrick’s over the last year.
While he may have been with us only for a brief time, he certainly made a lasting impression on our parish community during that time. Through his joyful demeanor, his excellent homilies and his compassion as a confessor and counselor, Fr. Denis touched the souls of many.
Fr. Michael and I are particularly grateful to God for sending Fr. Denis to us at the very time when the Church asked us to accept the challenge of taking on a second parish. We could never have managed such a significant addition to our workload without the help of a third priest, especially one as fine as Fr. Denis.
