Town of Monroe composting facility opens April 20

MONROE-The Town of Monroe's composting facility on Lakes Road will be open Wednesdays and Saturdays, beginning April 20. Non-commercial town residents can bring leaves and brush, but not grass clippings. Bundles must be tied and under four-feet long. The facility will be open from 10 a.m and 2 p.m. The last day to drop off yard waste will be May 25. For more information, call 782-8583.
