Youth skiers compete in the 10th Annual Karen Wiebel Memorial Giant Slalom
Warwick was represented by 22 youth skiers at the 10th Annual Karen Wiebel Memorial Giant Slalom contested on the slopes of Mountain Creek on Sunday. In the 10 & under girls' age group, Olivia Erdman turned in the top local performance, finishing in fifth place in a field of 23 of the top young skiers in the bi-state area. Erdman was clocked in 52.45 seconds on her first run down the slopes. She cut more than three seconds on her next run, posting a time of 49.01 seconds to finish with a total time of 1:41.46.
