Monroe-Woodbury remains undeated in varsity girls tennis
On Monday afternoon, Sept. 23, the Crusaders held their Senior Day activities after their match against the Warriors of Minisink Valley.
The Crusaders entered the match with a 8-0 record while the Warriors stood at 3-4 on the season.
In singles action Crusaders Made Cassidy continued her winning ways as she took a 6-0 6-0 decision in her first singles match.
Crusaders Makaela Hung 6-0 6-0, Emma Cherian 6-0 6-2, and Quinn Guyt 6-3 6-3 all swept their matches as the Crusaders rolled through the singles.
In first Doubles ,Crusaders Brooke Schoen and Aishwarya Rajendran battled to a 6-3 6-4 decision before Alyx Sperling and Ava Donager took second doubles with a 6-2 6-1 decision.
The Warriors took the finale doubles match for their only victory of the day.
The Crusaders 6-1 victory brings their season record 9-0.
