After the game, Sofia Pieczara, Allison Gardener and Maryann Nelson continue the Crusader tradition of bringing cookies and cupcakes to the team.
CENTRAL VALLEY — The seniors on the 2015-16 Monroe-Woodbury Cheer leading team were honored at halftime during the Crusaders' football game against Middletown last Friday evening.
The cheerleaders are coached by Barbara AliDad and led by captains Olivia Torres, a senior, and Ashley Meese, a junior.
In addition to Torres, the seniors on the team are:
• Sam Clark;
• Michelle Dyba;
• Katelyn McCarthy;
• Nicole Monda;
• Maryann Nelson;
• Sofia Pieczara; and
• Stephanie Sullivan.
Their spirt, leadership and enthusiasm is evident in the way the student body and crowd respond to them.
