George F. Baker senior Mo Berthe has been named to the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association Coaches Association Divisional All-Star Basketball Team for the second year in a row.
As a three-year varsity player and two-year captain, Berthe’s dedication, leadership and talent have earned him a spot among the top 52 players in Orange County — an honor voted on by opposing coaches.
Varsity basketball coach Matt Takeuchi praised Berthe for exemplifying what it means to be a student-athlete:
“He has been a pleasure to coach, bringing positive energy and always giving his best. Mo has set a great example for younger players, showing them that hard work and determination really do pay off.”
