The Crusaders hosted the Section 9 cheerleading championships at Monroe-Woodbury High School last Saturday afternoon, Feb. 18.
The Section Championship consisted of 16 teams broken into five categories.
The Crusaders edged out the Middle Bears of Middletown for the Section 9 D-1 Large title.
The victory sends the cheerleaders to the New York State Cheerleading finals, which will be held Saturday. March 4, at Visions Federal Credit Union Memorial Arena in Binghamton.
