On a warm, humid Monday morning, Aug. 23, the Monroe-Woodbury fall sport teams began their preparations for the upcoming seasons.
By 8 a.m. in the morning, the football, girls and boys soccer and cross country teams were on the fields with their first full day of practice.
Meanwhile indoors, the girls swim and dive team as well as the volleyball and cheer squads all put in their first day for another season of competition.
As of right now, everything points toward a normal fall sports schedule for the Crusader teams. But all of that can change due to precautionary steps that might have to be taken because of the ongoing pandemic.
At least for right now, it was great just to see are Crusader athletes and coaches out on the fields hard preparing for the 2021 fall season.
