Elmer Navarro-Mendieta, 21, of Monroe, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and released on an appearance ticket for Dec. 21.

Michael Bontempi, 52, of Selden, and Jason Soto, 35, of East Northport, were charged with attempted petty larceny and soliciting without a permit, misdemeanors. They were released on appearance tickets for Jan. 4.

Julian Pardo Losada, 25, of Queens, was charged with second-degree burglary as a hate crime, second-degree grand larceny, two counts of possession of stolen property, felonies, and criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. He was released on an appearance ticket.
