The Village of Monroe PBA this week announced the official start of its annual holiday toy drive to help support area children in need. The PBA is asking folks to donate new, unwrapped toys suitable for children ages 0 to 10, books and educational games, sporting goods and outdoor toys, and art supplies and craft kits.

Donations will be accepted now through December 17. They can be dropped off at the Monroe Police Station, 104 State Road, Monroe. For questions, call 845-782-8644. And if you are a family in need of toys this season, contact P.O. Munoz at a.munoz@monroepd.org.
