Getting back to normal. Expanded hours at DMV in Goshen, Middletown and Newburgh

The Orange County Department of Motor Vehicles has expanded appointment availability at its Orange County offices.

Appointments can be scheduled from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The DMV offers vehicle registrations, dealer work, transfers and plate surrenders by mail. Visit the Motor Vehicle Department page at orangecountygov.com for instructions on how to complete these transactions.

A drop box is available for plate surrenders and vehicle renewals only at the Goshen Government Center Security Station.

Other expanded county services are also now available. The County Clerk’s Office encourages the continued use of e-recording, e-filing, and mail-in requests, but in-person appointments are also available.
