Anthony J. Gallo, son of John and Laura Gallo of Monroe, recently graduated from The Art Institute of Philadelphia, Pa. with a bachelor of science degree in Computer Animation from The Art Institute of Philadelphia, Pa. Joseph Rosenfeld of Monroe has been named to the Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Conn., dean's list during the spring semester. Megan Kathryn Carr of Highland Mills, has been elected to the Phi Beta Kappa academic honorary society at The Johns Hopkins University. Carr is the daughter of Christopher and Kathleen Carr and attended Monroe Woodbury High School. Carr, who majored in neuroscience, graduated on May 20, 2004 with general honors and made dean's list for the spring 2004 semester. Rachel Beth Korn, Class of 2006, has been named to the dean's list at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. for the 2004 spring semester. Amy Brancato, daughter of Carole and Bill Brancato of Greenwood Lake, has received a bachelor of arts degree magna cum laude in graphic arts with a minor in advertising from York College of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the national honor society Phi Sigma Pi. She was a 2000 graduate of Tuxedo High School. Michele Goldberg of Highland Mills participated in the National Student Leadership Conference held at the University of Maryland, Aug. 2-12, for outstanding high school students. She participated in the program devoted to medical and health care issues. She attended workshops, researched medical topics and listened to special guest speakers from government and scientific organizations. Michelle plans to utilize these leadership skills as she pursues her college education. Scott and Amanda Briggs of Eagle Valley, Tuxedo, graduated in May from Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y. Scott received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and Amanda received her bachelor of arts degree in psychology. Amanda also made the president's list for academic excellence in the spring semester. They are the children of Skip and Doreen Briggs.
