M-W athlete of the week

CENTRAL VALLEY-The Athletic Department of Monroe-Woodbury High School recognizes a student or students each week who maintain a high degree of success in all areas pertaining to academics while also demonstrating good citizenship and outstanding game sportsmanship. This week's honored Crusader athlete is Kimia Mousavi, a senior on the Girl's Varsity Lacrosse Team. Kimia has been a member of the Girl's Lacrosse team for two years. As a starting goalie she has been an integral part of the team. In her position as goalie she has helped to lead the team to an 11-3 record in the OCIAA. Kimia's hard work and dedication is not shown only on the field but also in the classroom. She maintains an average of 93.25, which entitles her to be a member of the New York State Scholar Athlete Team.
