Town of Monroe employees and board members recently participated in Ethics Training led by Steve Leventhal of Leventhal, Mullaney & Blinkoff, LLP.
The Town Board passed a resolution in March adopting a local law repealing and replacing Chapter 4 of the Town Code entitled “Code of Ethics of the Town of Monroe.”
An important component of the adoption of this revised local law is ensuring town employees and board members are aware of the new Ethics Code and how it relates to their position and any circumstances that may arise.
