Marty Rosmarin, long-time resident of Monroe, celebrated his 95th birthday with family and friends on Jan. 20 at The Tequila Grill in Monroe.
Marty moved to Monroe in 1941 at the age of 16 when his father bought the Rosmarin property. He says he can’t wait for the warmer weather so he can get outside on his golf cart. He’s looking forward to another fun-filled summer with his guests at Rosmarin Cottages.
"I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life,” said Marty. “I really enjoyed my special celebration.”.
Poems were read, speeches were given and Bob Barlow, who was among the guests, showed up with his guitar to sing a song that he composed for Marty.
