Members of Boy Scout Troop 440 in Monroe gathered with the community on Sept. 11 to remember the loss of those fallen and reflect on the tragedies of that day 18 years ago.
Scouting was founded on the principle of Service to Others. By attending events and ceremonies such as this, it is teaching the youth of today life long lessons about the importance of community involvement and volunteerism.
