The Castle Fun Center expands again

The Castle Fun Center, in its 23rd year of operation, is growing again. This time adding outdoor rides to include the classic Swing Ride, a Midi Dance Party, 360 thrill ride (appropriately named Dragon Frenzy 360) and Spin Zone Bumper Cars.
The Swing Ride and Dragon Frenzy 360 opened in May, while the Spin Zone Bumper Cars are scheduled for arrival and opening by the end of July.
“I’m excited by the additions of rides this year,” said The Castle’s owner, Brian Leentjes. “It adds a new element to the park for sure!”
The Swing Ride is a 32-seat ride that swings you around in a circle and tilts as it spins, allowing you to soar high above the mini golf area.
Now Dragon Frenzy 360 is an entirely different creature. This one is a pure thrill ride. It’s a pendulum ride that sends riders spinning a full 360 degrees over the top, 40 feet in the air!
The Spin Zone Bumper Cars will be arriving in July. They're not the classic bumper cars you remember; these feature an inner tube design with two targets on each car that activate a “Spin Zone” sending your opponents’ car into an uncontrollable three-second spin.
“We feel it’s important to keep things fresh and new here and are always thinking of new additions,” said Leentjes.
That's in addition to indoor roller skating, three go-kart tracks, two 18-hold miniature golf courses, batting cages, ballocity, free fall, laser tag, the rock wall, and arcade.
Over the winter, they also renovated Jesters Café inside The Castle, which now offers a quick bite to eat in the cafe along with full table service in Jesters Restaurant & Pub. The pub offers a full bar with local craft beers on tap. They have also added new Dippin’ Dots treats in their concession areas.
The Castle has become the premier entertainment center in the Hudson Valley with guests travelling from throughout the New York Tri-State area and Pennsylvania.
