Smith Clove’s Lunch Time Theater breaks for the summer

CENTRAL VALLEY ­— Smith Clove Elementary School held its last Lunch Time Theater of the year on June 19.

Led by co-chairs Sarah Haisley and Sara Belmont, the theater company consisting of parent volunteers who gave monthly performances to grades K and 1.

Lunch Time Theater also gave a performance at Sapphire Elementary to support Monroe-Woodbury’s anti-bullying initiative, the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program.

For the final performance, the students enjoyed Al Yankovic’s “When I Grow Up.”

Smith Clove is the only Monroe-Woodbury school to have a Lunch Time Theater.
