Smith Clove Elementary dedicates new playground equipment

CENTRAL VALLEY — The 2012-2013 Smith Clove PTA recently donated a new swing set and comet orbiter to Smith Clove Elementary School.
“The children quickly gravitated to the delightful equipment, and happily spend recess taking turns swinging, spinning, and soaring to great heights,” wrote Smith Clove Elementary School Principal Debra Turnquist in a note to The Photo News.
Smith Clove students made thank you cards for the PTA, which were presented at a dedication ceremony. A plaque is displayed in honor of the PTA’s gift, she wrote.
The 2012-2013 Smith Clove PTA board members are Jenn Swajger, Rachel Landres, Tammy Sabat, Sandra Van Beusekom, Angela Traina and Liz Yunque.
