The ShopRite of Monroe, in partnership with the New York Blood Center, will host an in-store blood drive on Friday, Aug. 23, from 1:30 to 6 p.m.
The New York Blood Center will be offering a “pint for a pint” with coupons for a free pint of Baskin Robbins ice cream to those who donate a pint of blood.
Participants may sign up in advance for an appointment by visiting www.nybc.org, clicking the red “donate” button and searching by location. Signing up is preferred, but not mandatory.
Teens, ages 16-19, who sign up ahead of time will receive a $15 Dunkin Donuts gift card for donating.
ShopRite in Monroe is located at 785 Route 17M.
