ShopRite celebrates National Nutrition Month

Carley Baulick retail dietitian, ShopRite of Monroe (right) and Gina McAteer retail dietitian, ShopRite of Warwick (center) team up with Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus to peel a pile of clementines in the fastest time during an event at ShopRite of Vails Gate to celebrate National Nutrition Month. The friendly competition was organized by a team of registered dietitians from ShopRite’s Orange County stores to demonstrate healthy snacks in keeping with the campaign’s “Put Your Best Fork Forward” theme, which encourages consumers to “start small” by developing healthy eating styles they can maintain. During the event, the Orange County Executive also presented a proclamation to ShopRite’s dietitians to recognize the team for its work within the local community.
