Herbert and Judith Schneider (third and fourth from left) are shown receiving an award from the Rotary Foundation’s Central Texas District. The Schneiders were for many years the owners of Carpenter & Smith, Inc. in Monroe. Herbert Schneider is a 1963 graduate of the Monroe-Woodbury School District. He was a member of the Monroe-Woodbury Rotary Club, where he served a term as president. Now retired, the Schneiders reside in Bee Cave, Texas, near Austin, where he is a member of the Lakeway/Lake Travis Rotary Club. Provided photo.
