Community members and troops representing the Monroe-Woodbury Girl Scout community assisted in preparing 70 special ‘Thanksgiving boxes’ for needy families on Nov. 22 and 23 at the Monroe Food Pantry. The boxes, which included homemade apple pies baked by Girl Scouts, offer all the items to make a full Thanksgiving meal and include a turkey. (
