Remember when you were a Girl Scout?
HIGHLAND MILLS The Woodbury Girl Scouts are working on a display of pictures from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and up to current date of all levels of scouts from Brownies, Juniors through Cadettes and troop leaders.
It will be a wonderful way to share memories and pictures with present day scouts as we celebrate 100 years of scouting this year, wrote organizer Patty van Roekens in the press release announcing the effort. So please look in your attics and closets for these pictures, and you can make a copy at the Woodbury library and give to Circulation desk for collection.
If you are able to find an old uniform, sash or patches, please contact me directly as we would like to coordinate at display of these items also, van Roekens added.
