New Tuxedo Parks and Recreation Advisory Board established

The Town of Tuxedo recently announced the formation of its new Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, comprising eight community members looking to enhance the town’s recreational landscape.
According to the announcement, the board has been tasked with planning, policy formation, programming, and park revitalization. The board will meet monthly to strategize ways to “enrich the community’s leisure experiences.” The board said it was particularly excited about the upcoming Tuxedo Summer Day Camp, a five-week program that includes a variety of activities and complete access to Wee-Wah Lake.
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board also announced the return of the Concerts in the Park series at Tuxedo’s Powerhouse Park this summer. And coming up on March 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., residents can enjoy “Bagels with Bunnies” at The Tuxedo Train Station.
