Neuhaus rescinds State of Emergency declaration

On Wednesday evening, Nov. 20, Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus issued Executive Order No. 15, rescinding Executive Order 14 relating to the State of Emergency declaration for the county in response to the Jennings Creek Fire in Sterling Forest State Park.
In the order, Neuhaus said that county officials had determined that the emergency declaration was no longer necessary. The fire is considered 90% contained.
