On Sunday, June 6, the Village of Monroe recognized the winners of the Health and Wellness Poster contest at the farmers market.
The poster contest was co-sponsored by the Village of Monroe Farmers Market and South Orange Family YMCA and asked those students at North Main and Pine Tree Elementary Schools to create posters that would encourage people to maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating fresh fruits and vegetables from the farmers market and exercising at the YMCA.
The winners were:
Hailey Lendor, Mason Catalano, Jayce Matos and and Madison Lendor from North Main Elementary School.
Alyssa Chen, Swara Shah, Aiden Anaso, and Brianne Aprea from Pine Tree Elementary School.
