Monroe-Woodbury Girl Scouts again demonstrated the varied community service work they are a part of by helping officials of the Monroe Food Pantry prepare Thanksgiving food boxes to needy families this Thanksgiving season this past weekend.
Girls helped load up boxes with a range of food items for those with food insecurity issues to ensure they have a proper Thanksgiving meal, in addition to other food items to help maintain food in their homes.
Food pantry officials said they appreciated the help and wanted the girls to know their good deeds are recognized by many.
