Work continues to progress on the pickleball courts at Mombasha Park. All three courts were paved last week.
The next steps include court surfacing, striping and net installation. The town looks forward to a ribbon cutting ceremony officially opening the courts in late August or early September.
This fast-paced sport combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball and has gained popularity over the past few years.
The courts will be open to all residents of the Town of Monroe.
