The Monroe Downtown Revitalization Committee is sponsoring a St. Patrick’s Day raffle fund raiser, “Downtown Shenanigans.”
From Sunday, March 7, through Tuesday, March 16, come down to Lake Street in Monroe and look for the leprechaun in the window of a participating business.
The leprechaun will be traveling among the participating businesses. Inside you will find the “pot of gold.”
Take your best guess as to how many gold coins are in the pot and purchase your tickets at that store.
The person who comes closest to the correct number of coins wins.
Entry tickets are one for $3 or two for $5.
The drawing will take place live on the Monroe Downtown Revitalization Facebook page on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17.
One winner will take half the proceeds collected.
Funds are being raised to enhance our downtown and support local small business.
In the event of a tie, the winners will each receive 25 percent. You can enter as often as you wish.
