There is nothing that screams summer more than a carnival.
With thrilling rides, colorful lights and delicious food, a carnival symbolizes long joy-filled summer nights with family.
The Village of Monroe hosted its annual carnival along the Millponds over the last weekend in July. Families came together to partake in the festivities.
The crowds were thick on Saturday night, and the lines were long, but there was a sense of serenity there, too, as it felt nice to be participating in something “normal” after the summer of 2020 looked very different.
