The Fabulous Frandino Band will be one of the three bands to perform on Saturday, Aug. 14, at Crane Park in the Village of Monroe at a benefit for local food pantries. Provided photo.
On Saturday, Aug. 14, there will be a music fund raiser in cooperation with the Village of Monroe for the three food pantries.
This music event is being held in Crane Park, Monroe (Lakes Street between the Ponds) and kicks off at 11:30 a.m.
There are three bands performing: Charlie Lang & Every Night Ramblers, the Fabulous Frandino Band and rounding out the afternoon will be White Lie.
Please donate a ShopRite or Stop & Shop gift card or cash; the suggested donation is $15-$20 per person. This festival will help the Sacred Heart Parish Outreach programs to feed more than 130 families in the Monroe area each week.
So grab your favorite summer chair and your friends and join us for a great afternoon of music and take a walk into downtown for some wonderful food.
Rain date will be Sunday, Aug. 15.
