M-W announces its Bus of the Month
CENTRAL VALLEY — School bus driver Debbie Rosengrant, covering two routes, has been recognized by the Monroe-Woodbury School District's transportation department with "Bus of the Month" citations.
Monroe-Woodbury identifies bus drivers and attendants for their efforts throughout the school year as part of its nationally recognized transportation operations. The emphasis is on safety.
Rosengrant, driving Bus #446, transports children to Pine Tree Elementary School and Smith Clove Elementary School.
In her assessment of her Pine Tree passengers, Rosengrant wrote: "On our short ride, our students know to sit and buckle up their seat belts as soon as they board the bus. They all follow the safety rules of the bus and my directions especially when crossing the street in front of the bus. What a great bunch of kids."
Of her Smith Clove passengers, Rosengrant wrote: "Bus number 446 transport a great group of children. They are respectful to me and to the other passengers on the bus. They help each other with seat belts and follow my directions and safety rules of the bus. Each one of them comes on the bus with a smile every morning. It's a pleasure to drive them."
