Lions Club supermarket sweep winner donates food to pantry

MONROE — Henry Corts of Central Valley was the winner of the Monroe Lions Club’s supermarket sweep, conducted April 28 at the Monroe ShopRite.

The prize was $500 worth of food collected within a certain time period. Corts, assisted by two members of the Woodbury Lions Club, gathered $665 worth of groceries.

Corts paid for the additional food and donated it all to the Woodbury Fund Pantry.
