GOSHEN — Christine Krahulik leads David Hasin by four votes in the Republican primary for Orange County Family Court.

That is a reversal from the five-vote deficit she encountered after election night last week.

Krahulik received 213 absentee ballot votes while Hasin earned 204 absentee ballots after canvassing by the Orange County Board of Elections.

The counting is not over though. Objections have been lodged against 49 ballots.

Orange County Board of Elections Commissioner David Green said a court date has not yet been set but expects to have one by the end of the week.

Krahulik's current vote count is 3,159.

Hasin, a town of Woodbury Justice, has 3,164 votes.

The absentee counting did not change the results of the Conservative Party primary, which Krahulik captured.

Warwick attorney Christine Stage handily won the Independence Party primary over Hasin.
