Kamil Nicalek, ‘the 60-40 guy,’ appears on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’

MONROE — “The 60-40 guy” made his first appearance on “Bachelor in Paradise” a week ago this past Monday.
Model, real estate agent and online fitness coach Kamil Nicalek of Monroe, who was booted off the first night of Season 14 of the ABC-TV show “The Bachelorette,” officially joined the cast in Aug. 27th episode.
“Bachelor in Paradise” is a spin-off of the popular Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise.
Nicalek and Connor Obrochta joined the group as part of the show’s ongoing plot to complicate things for newly formed couples.
Each subsequent episode has new people joining the cast to shake things up as others leave. New relationships may form, and current ones may end.
Nicalek’s response “that relationships should be “about 60-40” when bachelorette Becca Kufrin said they should be “50-50” is what caused him to be ousted from the show.
That foolish comment earned him the nickname of “the 60-40 guy” by the “Bachelor in Paradise” cast.
Many whispered variations of “It’s that ’60-40’ guy” to each other when Nicalek first arrived at the luxurious Mexican resort in Monday’s episode.
Nicalek, who freely acknowledged he agreed to be on the show to redeem himself from his major faux pas with Kufrin, quickly got the attention of Annaliese Puccini, who is quite anxious to find love herself.
‘Finally somebody that I’m excited about,” she said. “He is like, one just beautiful specimen of a man. Yeah, it’s nice.”
Even some of the other women who already were “attached” to other men took notice of Nicalek, speaking about him with equally lustful candor during camera confessionals.
Each subsequent episode has new people joining the cast as others leave. New relationships may form, and current ones may end.
Twists and turns are certain to take place because what is a reality show without any “are you kidding me” drama?
The couples remaining toward the end will decide whether to leave separately, leave as friends or as a couple, or stay overnight in a fantasy suite.
But what happens to Nicalek, who is also looking for an amorous relationship?
And what about Puccini and the other ladies who are now vying for his attention?
