Irish lasses perform at GWL Irish Day

Girls representing the Early-McLoughlin School of Irish Dance, including six girls from Monroe, performed at the March 1 Greenwood Lake Irish Day at the American Legion Post 1443. In attendance was Ann Slattery Michel, the grand marshal for March 15 Mid-Hudson St. Patrick's Parade in Goshen. Gathering in the back row are, from the left: Mairead Early, Kristen Normoyle, Molly Schiller of Monroe, Meghan Conlan of Monroe, Rachel Mullahy of Monroe, Kylie Metcalf of Monroe and Monroe resident Erin Cytryn with Grand Marshal Ann Slattery Michel. Front Row, from the left: Grace McDonnell, Gemma Maxwell, Sarah Schiller of Monroe, Kaitlin McDonnell and Maggie Mullens. The Early-McLoughlin School holds Irish step dancing classes in Cornwall and Warwick, but the main school is located in Dumont, N.J.
