Mike Martucci, candidate for the 42nd State Senate District seat, has been endorsed by former Gov. George E. Pataki who led the Empire State in its economic resurgence and shepherded it through the trying days following the terrorist attacks on 9/11.
Pataki was known for his ability to work hand-in-hand with people from all walks of life and to reach across the aisle to develop public policy that was reasoned, effective and compassionate.
“In the middle of an economic downturn, Mike took the biggest risk of his life, the same risk thousands of New Yorkers take every year, and used his life savings to start a small business,” Pataki said. “Despite the levers of Albany bureaucracy working against him, Mike’s made it thrive,” Governor Pataki reflected. “I couldn’t be prouder to endorse someone of such exemplary character and caliber as Mike Martucci for State Senate.”
