TUXEDO — Recently, sixth grade students at George Grant Mason School in Tuxedo visited the Lakota Wolf Preserve in Columbia, N.J.

After the trip, the students decided to "adopt" a wolf by making a donation to the preserve. The students voted to adopt a twelve-year old alpha named Teeko.

After collecting funds and sending in the $25 contribution, the students received a newsletter from the wolf preserve and a picture of Teeko.

The sixth grade was happy to be helping the wolves and plan to make the visit and donation a yearly one.
