Bright sun and blue skies on Feb. 17 may have finally brought a ray of sunshine to Monroe-Woodbury’s Class of 2021’s muted school year.
Class advisors and officers organized the school’s first COVID-19 compliant senior class event of the 2020-21 school year: Ice skating at the Bear Mountain Ice Rink on a cold, brisk day.
Photographer William Dimmit was on hand to capture the masked fun for the 8- plus seniors who took part in the outdoor event with their friends.
Those smiles you may not have seen for a while ... we bet you can see them behind the required masks!
School officials say they are planning more events to celebrate the Class of 2021; watch for more Dimmit photos when they take place.
