Central Valley. Santa touches down in Woodbury for tree-lighting

The Village of Woodbury, in conjunction with We are Woodbury Committee, held it’s first Tree-Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 6 beginning at 6 p.m., at Perrone Circle in Central Valley.

Hundreds of residents turned out to celebrate.

Santa was escorted by the Woodbury Fire Department and came out of the fire truck with style and candy canes for all the children in attendance.

Caroling hot chocolate and cookies were given out.

Everyone wore masks and made this a fun, safe celebration. The tree lighting was approximately done at 6:30 p.m. with a countdown started by Santa.
